About Akrofuom Senior High/ Tech School

Akrofuom Senior High Technical School was established in 1991 with Mr. E. K. Osei as the first Headmaster. It began with 21 Students and 8 Teachers. The School is located at Akrofuom in the Adansi South District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

VISION

To be an educational centre of academic and moral discipline through effective teaching, learning and mentoring to enhance human development.

MISSION

To provide a participatory, all-inclusive working atmosphere for all teaching and non-teaching staff to offer their best in all circumstances within the framework of set targets so as to inspire students to achieve the highest standards of intellectual, moral and personal development through stimulating and comprehensive programmes for their respective future professions and vocations.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• 2018 Ashanti Region Debate Champions.
• The Master Card Foundation has granted scholarships to six (6) best performing students in WASSCE between 2014 and 2015 to covers full tuition fees, accommodation, laptop and stipend in the university.
• The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has given eighteen (18) spots
  of admission for the last 3 years. The University selects the best six (6) students each year from the WAEC office.
