About Presbyterian Secondary School, Begoro

The Presbyterian Secondary school, Begoro, started
as the Begoro Secondary school following the
phasing out of the Begoro Women’s Training College
on the 31st of August, 1972. The school initially started
as the Presbyterian Middle Girls Boarding school in
the early forties by the Basel Mission, ARISE. It was
then converted into the Begoro Women’s Training
College on the 10th of December, 1965. The school
has grown from a student population of 70 to over
2000 with 1349 boarders and 651 day students.

To be the most preferred centre of academic
excellence in the Eastern Region.

MISSION

To create an atmosphere that is conducive for learning
and for the training of responsible future leaders who
are imbued with unique values of discipline, humility,
morality, service and hard work.
